Danny Hull Newsletter: Musically This Week Vol XIII, No 4

Hullo friends.  Here's the update:  We think a deal is in the making to save the club.  What we don't know is if the next owner will want to continue the music policy.  But we're going to try and keep some kind of momentum going.  Here's the schedule...

Tuesday, 10/5 at Bobby McGee's
Dark
There was basically no time to pull it all together, so for this week, the Tuesday music is silenced.

Saturday, 10/9 at Bobby McGee's     8:00 - 11:00
Mary Stahl & the Jim Calabrese Trio
Mary Stahl, vocals     Jim Calabrese, piano     Buddy Fadale, bass     your host, drum set
Buffalo is home to countless inspired artists.  It's in the Niagara DNA.  Our idea at Bobby McGee's has been to give the deserving musician a venue, and a voice.  And maybe if we give an artist of Mary's stature a weekend opportunity, we can serve two masters - the artist herself and the audience that submits to her spell.  Being as that we simply don't know what will play out in our current situation, you may want to catch Mary while you can.  We're trying to keep the spirit alive while we await our fate.  Why not join us in the uncertainty?

next Tuesday, 10/12 at Bobby McGee's     7:00 - 10:00
Greg Millar, guitar     Ronnie Peterson, Hammond B3 organ     Rey Scott, saxophone     your host, drum set

upcoming at Bobby McGee's...
10/26 Gary Keller & Andy Weinzler

So we're looking up...
